Setting Up the Election Process

The association or organization announces the election on their website. The election link and timeline are published for members to view upcoming events.

Submit Details & Candidature

Candidates register on the OurBallot platform by adding their Position, Name, Photo, Description and CV. Nominations remain open for a specified period.

Review & Approval by Electoral Officer

After the nomination period ends, the Electoral Officer (EO) reviews all entries. Candidates may withdraw before finalization. Approved candidates are listed and election dates are confirmed.

Transparent Online Voting Process

Voting links are displayed on the association website and shared via SMS or Email. Members vote through 2-step authentication (Credentials + OTP) and receive a confirmatory message after successful submission.

Every Vote Accounted For

Votes are securely counted after the election period ends. System logs and verification ensure no duplicate or late votes are accepted, maintaining accuracy and integrity
The Electoral Officer (EO) cannot view or access results until the official declaration time.
If results are accessed first time, the system automatically logs and notifies the EO with date, time and location details — ensuring accountability and transparency when results are opened

Accountability & Insights

Once counting is complete, results are made visible to the Electoral Officer (EO) and then published on the website. Ballot count and participation stats are displayed for transparency.
